The idea of co-ownership came about when a group of friends got together and attempted to purchase vacation property to share. So many obstacles arose, that the idea was basically given up and it was said that "it can't be done". Since I am a person who enjoys a challenge (and strongly dislike the word "can't"), I was determined to find a way to make the impossible happen. Calling upon some friends' professional knowledge of real estate and the law, along with my own experience in business and construction, it was possible to iron out the problems and thus develop a unique vacation concept which has proven to work very well. The concept was started in 1984 and has grown considerably since then. It has been a source of pride and pleasure to watch its evolution. Although Interval Management Corporation may not be important to everyone, we are of great importance to the family of Interval owners.
